Channelside District with David

David came down from Ocala with his buddy for this one. Pretty sure it was his first time ever taking photos like this, so it was dope that his friend made the two-hour trip just to support. Always cool to see that kind of energy.

A lot of my clients actually work with dating coaches and one of the top things they recommend is showing you’re social. Like group shots matter more than people think. So naturally we grabbed a few with his friend to help tell that story.

David was aiming for a professional vibe overall but also wanted to show off some of his hobbies—turns out the guy’s super talented with a guitar. Had to make sure we included that. It’s stuff like this that makes your dating profile feel more real and personal instead of just photos for the sake of photos.

We shot around Channelside and Water Street which honestly gives you the best of both worlds. You’ve got the clean professional look with those modern buildings and then just down the way you’ve got Sparkman Wharf for a more casual date-night feel.

Also pro tip—having locations outside your usual area on your dating profile helps give the impression you’re out and about exploring. Gives people a little more to connect with.
